Unit 2 Library

I decided to take out Diet Pepsi from the library. Although this isn't a book or reading material that most people would take out of a library, I felt as if Diet Pepsi was still something very useful to take out. Teenagers are reliant on caffeine while they do their work or study, and having Diet Pepsi, a soda filled with caffeine, readily available in the library for students is very useful.

I personally love going to the library in my town to get books. I have had a library card since I was very young, and I don't plan on having it expire any time soon. Personally, I love how the library is a relatively free source of books because having to spend upwards of $10 on each book I would want to buy is a little barbaric knowing I'm only going to read the book once. I work as a Lifeguard over the summer, so during my breaks I love to read leisurely, mainly because the books weren't assigned to me. I go to the library and choose the books I want to read because even if I don't know exactly what I want to read when I get there, I'll definitely find something interesting that I would want to get into.

I know that technology has changed the way a lot of people read, but personally I like the physical turning of the page. I have read from e-reading technologies such as a Nook, Kindle, or even my phone, but I personally don't think technology will change the way I look at a brick-and-mortar library.
